Chewy is a male Lhasa Apso with perhaps a little poodle thrown in around his legs.
He is 14-years-old and weighs 19 1/2 pounds. Chewy was relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility.
This senior gentleman has a youthful spirit that will have you doubting his age. He skips along merrily exploring every sight and sound in his environment. He is a very active boy and still loves to run. He has that sparkle in his eyes that lets you know he is ready to seize whatever the day has in store for him.
Chewy will make a wonderful companion for most any home, but because of his age, one without younger children would probably be best. Chewy is ready to cuddle and give you soft kisses, so visit him soon and see how you can give this gentleman a chance to live out his remaining years in a home with lots of love and attention.
The Coronado Animal Care Facility, located at 1395 1st St., next to the Ferry Landing is open every day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (except holidays). If you are interested in an adoption, you must first complete a dog adoption application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Dog Adoption Counselor.
