Coronado Cops to Sub in BMWs for Current Honda Motorcycles
A new motorcycle joined the Coronado Police Department's fleet last week and officials say that in time, more will follow.

CORONADO, CA - Coronado has a new police motorcycle in its fleet.
The city has purchased a 2017 R1200RT BMW motorcycle for traffic patrol, according to the latest community update.
Police Department officers brought the new ride to a recent City Council meeting to show community members. The bike was purchased because Honda, the brand that city officers are currently using, no longer manufactures a police motorcycle model.
