Navy Old Goats to Honor 4 Wounded Warriors at Sunday Reception

A group of retired naval officers, the Navy Old Goats will host a reception Sunday March 10 for wounded service members at the Coronado Community Center.

The third annual Coronado Wounded Warrior Reception will be the last stop for four service members being treated at Naval Medical Center San Diego and their families as they visit and enjoy the city.

Each paid ticket helps defray the dinner costs for the honorees, who are from Naval Medical Center San Diego’s Comprehensive Combat and Complex Casualty Care, or C5, program.

Guest speakers will be Coronado Mayor Casey Tanaka and Lt. Jay Redman, a decorated Navy SEAL, a wounded warrior and motivational speaker.
