Update: Sailor Seriously Burned in Pennsylvania Explosion

A sailor returning home from Afghanistan and his friend suffered serious burns from an explosion at a homecoming party Friday night.

According to ABC.com, Pasquale Troisi, 31, who went through SEAL training, will be in a medically induced coma for three weeks and is expected to remain at Temple University Hospital for three months with 77-percent of his body burned.
PhillyBurbs.com reported that Troisi is a Santee resident.

A friend, 26-year-old Stephen Klink, suffered injuries while trying to extinguish the flames.
According to police, a freestanding front-loading fireplace exploded at the party in the Upper Moreland suburb, setting Troisi on fire. Investigators say someone had poured gasoline onto the fire to get the wet logs to burn.
Troisi had just returned to his hometown of Warminster on Thursday, PhillyBurbs.com reported. He graduated from Archbishop Wood High School in 2001.
Though some reports described Troisi as a Navy SEAL, officials with Naval Special Warfare Command confirmed that he did not complete the training.
