49ers Extend Levi's Stadium Naming Rights Deal Through 2043
The 10-year extension is valued at $170 million and is among the largest of its kind in the National Football League.
SANTA CLARA, CA — The San Francisco 49ers have reached an agreement to extend the naming rights for Levi's Stadium for another decade for a price tag of $170 million, the team announced Thursday.
The agreement will guarantee Levi Strauss & Co. the naming rights through the 2043 NFL season, which the team said ranks among the league's largest extensions. Levi's will also expand its sponsorship efforts, including new merchandise collaborations.
"Our brands are our greatest asset, and we will continue to invest in drivers of our long-term, sustainable growth," said Michelle Gass, the company's incoming CEO. "Today's announcement underscores our confidence in this strategy, as well as in the continued opportunity to make an impact alongside values-led partners like the San Francisco 49ers organization and the City of Santa Clara."

The extension will continue community partnerships between the 49ers and Levi's that focus on Santa Clara and the broader Bay Area, including $200,000 in annual contributions from the team.
"Levi Strauss & Co. has deep roots in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we know the value that this iconic name brings to a world-class stadium that attracts hundreds of thousands of people annually," said Santa Clara Mayor Lisa Gillmor. "This extension would solidify our partnership with LS&Co., showing that we have a shared commitment to make a positive impact in our community."

Levi's Stadium will be among the host venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the venue will be the site for Super Bowl 60 the same year. The team expects both events to generate hundreds of millions of dollars for the region.
The agreement is subject to approval from the Stadium Authority Board, which is expected Tuesday.
