2 More Jewel Thief Suspects Arrested; 1 Suspect Accused Of Violently Assaulting Elderly Man

Two more suspects in the San Jose smash and grab were arrested, police said.

SAN JOSE, CA — Two more suspects in the smash and grab at Kim Hung Jewelry in San Jose were arrested, the San Jose Police Department announced. Police say that one of the suspects is accused of violently assaulting an 88-year-old during the robbery.

Jamieon Miller, 19, of Tracy, and Wesley Miller, 19, of Oakland, were arrested for their alleged role in the Sept. 5 robbery, police said.

Both are accused of helping steal tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from the store before fleeing the scene in multiple vehicle.

Jamieon Miller is suspected of violently assaulting an 88-year-old man, who was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Thirteen other suspects have been arrested in connection with the robbery. The group is accused of ramming a vehicle into the glass door of the shop to gain entry.
