Bay Area Wind Advisory Issued
BREAKING: The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the San Francisco Bay Area for 9 p.m. Monday through 6 a.m. Tuesday.

BAY AREA, CA -- The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the San Francisco Bay Area that takes effect at 9 pm on the night of Monday, Feb. 6 and lasts until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
According to weather officials, southerly winds could reach 30 mph with gusts of over 40 mph in lower elevations. Gusts are expected to be over 50 mph in higher elevations.
Winds could make driving difficult and result in downed trees and power outages, weather service officials said.
