Blaze Engulfs Attic In Santa Clara Home: SC Fire

SANTA CLARA -- Firefighters extinguished a fire that burned through the attic of a home in Santa Clara on Tuesday morning, fire officials said.

Crews responded at 7:50 a.m. to a report of a house fire in the 2600 block of Augusta Place and arrived to find smoke coming from the roof and vents of a single-story home.

The fire was extinguished after spreading through the attic. No firefighters or residents were injured in the blaze, fire officials said.
