Cupertino Sheriff's Blotter, June 16-20: Underage Drinking, Possession

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's arrests for Cupertino for the period of June 16-20, 2013. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Manufacturing Metal Knuckles

  • A 19-year-old Cupertino man was arrested at 3 a.m. June 16 at Gardenside Lane and Cleo Avenue in Cupertino for felony manufacturing, selling or metal knuckles. Bail set at $10,000.

Possession

  • An 18-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 1:25 a.m. June 16 at Gardenside Lane and Cleo Avenue in Cupertino for felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of alcoholic beverage under the age of 21. Bail set at $10,250.

DUI/Underage Drinking

  • A 19-year-old Hughson, CA man was arrested at 2:50 a.m. June 16 at Gardenside Lane and Cleo Avenue in Cupertino for misdemeanor DUI and being minor in possession of alcohol. Bail set at $5,250.
  • An 18-year-old Santa Clara man was arrested at 10:30 p.m. May 26 at Bollinger Road and Westlynn Way in Cupertino, for misdemeanor possession of alcoholic beverage under the age of 21.
  • An 18-year-old Santa Clara man was arrested at 1:12 a.m. June 10 at Montebello Road and Casa de Pino Way in Cupertino, for misdemanor possession of alcoholic beverage under the age of 21 and DUI.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • A 32-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 7:20 a.m. June 17 at Bolinger and De Anza Boulevard in Cupertino, for misdemeanor driving with a suspended license, driving with privileges suspended or revoked and an infraction for illegal turns at intersections. Bail set at $10,000.
  • A 34-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 11:05 a.m. June 11 at No. Foothill and Stevens Creek boulevards in Cupertino for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
  • A 32-year-old San Jose man was arrested at 7:30 a.m. June 17 at Bollinger Road and De Anza Boulevard for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked, suspended license and an infraction for not having required mirrors.
  • A 33-year-old Los Gatos woman was arrested at 1:20 a.m. June 18 at Highway 280 and Wolfe Road in Cupertino, for misdemeanor having a suspended license.
  • A 37-year-old Union City man was arrested at  12:30 p.m. June 19 at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Imperial Avenue in Cupertino, for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and an infraction for using wireless telephone device while driving. Bail set at $5,000.
  • A 29-year-old Cupertino man was arrested at 8:30 p.m. June 16 at Stevens Creek Boulevard and Wolfe Road for misdemeanor exhibition of speed.

Assault

  • A 23-year-old Sunnyvale man was arrested at 5 p.m. June 19 at De Anza Boulevard and Valley Green Drive in Cupertino, for misdemeanor assault against a person, property or vehicle. Bail set at $7,000.

DUI

  • A 19-year-old Cupertino man was arrested at 3:05 a.m. June 20 at Torre Avenue and Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino, for misdemeanor hit-and-run and DUI. Bail set at $19,000.

Contribute to Delinquency of Minor

  • An 18-year-old Cupertino man was arrested at 12:57 a.m. June 17 on Linda Vista Drive in Cupertino, for misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
