SANTA CLARA, CA -- The police department is advising motorists to avoid the area surrounding Kiely Boulevard, which was shut down between Barcells and Toledo as a result of a pedestrian versus vehicle crash that killed a person. Traffic is now being diverted through the neighborhood. This area located north of Interstate 280 and west of the San Tomas Expressway will remain closed during the night commute hours. The call came in at 3:38 p.m. on the crash, which is under investigation. No other information is available. --Image via Shutterstock
