Flooding Shutters South Bay Roadway
Stevens Canyon Road in Cupertino is expected to be closed for several hours.
CUPERTINO, CA — Stevens Canyon Road in Cupertino is expected to be closed for several hours Thursday due to flooding in the roadway from overnight stormy weather, Santa Clara County sheriff's officials said.
Deputies are assisting @CityofCupertino Department of Public Works near Stevens Canyon County Park due to flooding in the roadway. Stevens Canyon Road will be closed for several hours. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes (Pierce Road to Mt. Eden). pic.twitter.com/ZWkY3HtDVl

The sheriff's office wrote on Twitter at 7:50 a.m. about the flooding near Stevens Creek County Park and said deputies are assisting Cupertino public works crews to mitigate the flooding.
People are being asked to take alternate routes, such as Mt. Eden and Pierce roads, to get around the area.
