Guess Where I Was When I Took This Photo?

How well do you know Cupertino?

I was certain was going to be super tough. That’s what I told David Fung when I ran into him and his family at Maker Faire last Saturday.

But Andrew Fung, David’s 5th-grade son, proved me wrong. David says Andrew knew right away that the photo was taken from behind Panera Bread on Stevens Creek Boulevard facing the Target. Hey Andrew, HOW do you do it?!

I’m baffled at how it’s so easy for some to guess these things.

But I keep trying.

Here’s how it goes…I travel around Cupertino and when I spot a building or a section of building that looks unidentifiable, I pull out my camera and snap. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to guess where I was standing when I clicked the button.

This little game has developed quite a following, and I’ve encountered a playful nemesis—, a cartoon character created by Cupertino’s own . If you go back and look through previous Guess games—and  games, too—you’ll find .

McCarty has created a whole comic strip around Cupertino Patch and our weekend games. .

Please consider becoming a part of our very own comic strip by sending him a couple of photos of yourself so he can create a likeness of you to add to our storyline.
