How Green Are You? Cupertino Wants To Know
The local government has started a sustainability program that recognizes citizens' environmentally friendly efforts.

CUPERTINO, CA -- The Silicon Valley city wants to know how you make Cupertino a little greener. The local government has started a program called the Cupertino Scene Green, in which photos showing a citizen practicing sustainability initiatives may be featured in the site's recent edition.
Take local Cupertino Dentist, Dr. Harini Krishnapuram, for example. The dental practitioner uses non-toxic cleaning products that are rated at least 8.0 on goodguide.com to keep her dental practice clean and healthy for her patients and the environment.
What do you do? Send the city your photos of your efforts. Here are some examples:

- Recycle and compost
- Pick up litter
- Install Solar
- Plant trees
- Ride a bicycle
- Plug in LED lights
