New Dim Sum Restaurant Coming To Cupertino: Report

CUPERTINO, CA — Koi Palace, which has several dim sum locations throughout the Bay Area, is planning to open a new spot in Cupertino, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The new location, to be called Koi Palace Contempo, will be at Main Street Cupertino, a relatively new plaza in the Silicon Valley suburb that has several food options. According to the Chronicle, the location will open early next year.

Koi Palace, known for its dim sum offerings, has locations in Daly City, Milpitas and Dublin. The Cupertino location will have around 160 seats, the Chronicle reported.

The news should be welcoming for local dim sum lovers, as two of Cupertino’s most popular spots — Dynasty Seafood Restaurant and Joy Luck Palace — have recently permanently closed.
