Power Restored To Some So. Bay Customers, Nearly 2,000 Without
In its second day, PG&E crews battle massive outages. The morning started with almost 5,000 in darkness with over half restored by the end.

CUPERTINO, CA -- The pressure has been placed on Pacific Gas & Electric crews hopping to restore power to thousands in the South Bay.
The day started with almost 5,000 customers in the dark. As of noon, 735 households and businesses were without electricity. As the stormy day progressed into the night, that number has shot up to 1,196.
Most of the outages have been concentrated south of Interstate 280.
