Public Invited to Thursday Open House on Biltmore Project

Developer of Biltmore Apartment project to hold a public input meeting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The public is invited to attend a second neighborhood meeting on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to provide input on the project at the southwest corner of Stevens Greek Boulevard and Blaney Avenue.

Prometheus Real Estate Group, the developer of the project, will host the meeting at the Biltmore Apartments Clubhouse, located at 10159 S Blaney Ave.

The new apartment complex and commercial building will be located on the site where currently a Chili’s Restaurant and other retail businesses exist.

The City Council is expected to consider the proposed application and plans at its June 4 meeting.

The new complex will consist of 99 apartment units, 7,000 square feet of commercial space.

Concerns expressed by the public at the last public input meeting in March included traffic and school impacts, location of the complex’s driveway, parcel tax, and that the corner site is not included in the finished project.
