Readers: Take Charge of Weekend Games on Cupertino Patch

Instead of being the guessers of our games, be the one to contribute the images. Make Patch editor, Anne Ernst, do the guessing, too!

I want to play my own weekend Cupertino Patch games, but need your help.

If you’re a weekend Cupertino Patch reader you’re familiar with our two games, , which runs on Saturdays, and that runs on Sundays. Well it’s time for a little twist.

I’m asking for Cupertino Patch readers to be the ones to provide the photos so that I can get in on the guessing games, too.

For the Where’s This game, I take a photo of a sign on a business, for example, then crop it to a proportion that offers just a hint of what the whole sign is.

In the Guess Where game I take a photo of an ordinary-looking rather non-descript building, or section of a building within the city’s limits or just across it’s borders and ask readers to guess where I was standing when I took the photo. (Readers can also just answer by identifying the building, too.)

Send your photos to Cupertino Patch editor Anne Ernst at anne.ernst@patch.com.

Don’t tell me anything about the image—and please follow the rules about the sign or building currently existing in or on the border of Cupertino—and I’ll create and post the article on the regular days. If I get a lot of submissions, I'll run them during the weekdays, too.

And my thanks to Bitter+Sweet owner, Janice Chua, for planting the seed of this idea in my little head!

C'mon everybody, play with me!
