Santa Clara Police Showcases Snazzy New Crime Scene Vehicle
The $186,000 purchase should help expedite critical incidents on the spot.

SANTA CLARA, CA -- The Santa Clara Police Department is going more mobile.
The force recently bought a Crime Scene Investigation vehicle, which is meant to transport evidence team members from the police department to crime scenes, critical incidents and traffic crashes with injuries.
The van-like vehicle will store necessary tools and equipment to process a crime scene in a timely manner. This enclosed workspace will allow staff to collect, preserve, inventory, package and transport evidence.
