Shooting Suspects Wounding Two Sought By Santa Clara Police

Suspects in a sedan allegedly drove up to a group of people socializing in a parking lot and shot into the crowd early Thursday.

SANTA CLARA, CA -- The Santa Clara Police Department is asking for the public’s help for information related to a shooting that occurred on Thursday at about 12:04 a.m. at 1509 Agnew Road.

A group of about 10 males and females were socializing and drinking in the parking lot of the Sobrato Family Living Center when a dark-colored sedan pulled into the lot. An unknown suspect inside the sedan began shooting at the group. Numerous rounds were shot indiscriminately into the crowd. Two victims were struck and were transported to a local area hospital by their friends. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
