Silicon Valley Healthcare Veteran Returns Home To San Jose
Tomi Ryba will take over as chief of the Regional Medical Center in San Jose, the city where she worked as CEO for El Camino Hospital.

SAN JOSE – Regional Medical Center has promoted Tomi Ryba to Chief Executive Officer, a 20-year veteran with two decades of healthcare industry management.
Ryba recently served as a high-ranking executive for Providence’s Southern Oregon region where she was responsible for its integration of health care divisions.
The Silicon Valley Business Journal chose Ryba as one of 100 Women of Influence.

“We are excited to have Tomi return to the San Jose area to lead the Regional Medical Center team,” Interim President Michael Carter said.
Prior to working at Providence Medical Center, Ryba served as the CEO of El Camino Hospital in San Jose.

Throughout her storied career including roots in the Silicon Valley, the medical professional has served on various healthcare and community boards, including the California Hospital Association and the American Red Cross.
Ryba received her Masters degree in healthcare administration from Chapman University in Orange.
