Summit Denali, located in Sunnyvale, was recognized nationally by U.S. News & World Report among the best middle schools in California. Summit Denali ranked #21 out of California charter schools, and in the top 150 middle schools in California out of more than 3,400 schools.

For the first time, U.S. News looked at public middle schools across the state, and ranked about 3,400 based on students’ performance on math and reading state assessments in the context of statewide demographics.

Summit Public Schools, a public school system with schools in California and Washington, has made the U.S. News & World Report high school rankings every year since 2009. In addition to Summit Denali’s ranking, Summit Atlas in Seattle was ranked as a top middle school in Washington.
