SANTA CLARA, CA — As the summer of Swift draws to a close, the pop sensation is ending the U.S. leg of her Eras tour with a big payout for those who helped make it happen.
Singer Taylor Swift paid more than $55 million total in bonuses to everyone who worked on The Eras Tour, according to People. She gave the roughly 50 truckers for the show $100,000 each before Saturday’s performance in Santa Clara, TMZ reported.
The tour has taken America by storm in recent months, grossing over $300 million and selling nearly 1.2 million tickets as of last week, according to Pollstar. The U.S. section of the tour is expected to generate a $5 billion economic impact before it comes to a close next week in Inglewood, Pollstar reported, citing QuestionPro.

Swift generated so much demand that Ticketmaster crashed the day tickets went on sale for the tour, according to Pollstar, which reported the tour will continue later in the month when its international leg begins in Mexico.
