Today's Bay Area Forecast: Cloudy, Possible Showers

Highs in the mid 50s are expected.

BAY AREA, CA -- The National Weather Service forecast for the Bay Area today includes both clouds and the looming possibility of rain across the region.

Jan. 19 is expected to be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Highs in the mid 50s are expected, with southwest winds between 10 mph and 15 mph.

Tonight is expected to be rainy with lows in the upper 40s. South winds could range between 10 and 20 mph.

Friday, according to the weather service, should be breezy and rainy, with a chance of thunderstorms. Highs are expected to be in the mid 50s, and west winds could reach 30 mph.
