Transit of Venus Photos From Cupertino

Telescopes were barely gathering dust since last month's annular eclipse of the sun when this once-in-a-lifetime occurrence of drew gobs of attention.

Cupertino's Mason McCarty set his telescoping sites on the sun Tuesday and snapped the attached photos.

"Amazing is all I have to say!" McCarty said.
