VIDEO: Apple Campus Construction Update for February 2017
The $5 billion, 176-acre facility, designed to hold up to 13,000 employees, is expected to open sometime during the first quarter of 2017.

CUPERTINO, CA -- The latest in a series of videos documenting the progress in construction of Apple's new campus has been posted by videographer Matthew Roberts.
Work on the neo-futuristic second campus, commonly known as Apple Campus 2, or simply AC2, began in 2013 and is expected to be complete this year.
The site's 176 acres are designed to house up to 13,000 employees in one central four-storied circular building.

Over the months, the project's progress has been documented via remote controlled drone.

- Water accumulation from the recent storms is still visible.
- The solar panel installation progress is estimated at 70 percent complete.
- The front of the research and development facility has been paved.
- Lighting poles have been installed behind the facility.
- A walkway is being formed on top of the main transit tunnel.
- Garages have been completed and are now being used by construction workers.
- Landscaping continues around the auditorium.
