Wind Advisory Issued for Bay Area
The advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday until 3 a.m. Friday.

BAY AREA, CA -- The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the San Francisco Bay that takes effect Feb. 1.
The advisory will be in effect from 10 p.m. Thursday until 3 a.m. Friday.
According to the National Weather Service, wind gusts could reach 40 mph in lower elevations. Gusts could reach 50 mph near the coast and in the hills.

Winds could result in downed trees and power lines, and make driving conditions difficult, NWS officials said.
