• Gray Whale Stuns In First Sighting Of The Season In Dana Point (patch.com) — A southbound gray whale made the season’s first confirmed appearance just off Ritz Point near the Dana Point shoreline, thrilling observers from Dana Wharf. The sub-adult whale hugged the coast past the headlands and Dana Point Harbor, and locals are being encouraged to book Dana Wharf tours as gray whale sightings are expected to increase in the coming weeks.
