Davis Man Killed In Hwy 121 Crash In Napa County
The 25-year-old who died was a passenger in a BMW driven by another Davis resident, according to the California Highway Patrol.

NORTH BAY, CA — A 25-year-old Davis man was killed in a solo-vehicle crash early this morning in unincorporated Napa County east of Yountville, California Highway Patrol officials said. The crash victim, whose name has not been released, was a passenger in a 2015 BMW driven by Weibo Zhou, 23, of Davis, CHP officials said.
The BMW was traveling south on state Highway 121/Monticello Road north of Waters Road around 1 a.m. when Zhou lost control of the car on several sharp curves and struck two trees on the side of the road, according to the CHP.
The BMW overturned and landed on its roof. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while Zhou suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.

Investigators do not know if the occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, according to the CHP.
