Davis School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Davis is August 23. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Davis School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 1/1-5 Winter Break (Continued) (No school)
• 1/8: Senior High Teacher Work Day: Monday, January 8 (No school for Senior High students (DSHS, DVCA, King) and all DSIS students)
• 1/15: Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No school)
• 1/22: Junior High Teacher Work Day: Monday, January 22 (No school for Junior High students)

February

• 2/12: Local Holiday (No school)
• 2/19: Presidents' Day (No school)

March

• 3/26-30: Spring Break (No school)

May

• 5/28: Memorial Day (No school)

June

• 6/7: last Day of School
