The project also draws on input from Davis Community Action Network and regional climate planning, promising better transit, safer bike and pedestrian routes, and long-term free transit passes for future residents.

Eggs recalled after Salmonella sickens 63 people in California: See the list of products and stores impacted (fastcompany.com) — Residents who shop or eat in Davis should check their egg cartons, because Vega Farms brown eggs linked to a Salmonella outbreak were sold at several Davis locations, including Davis Food Co-op and UC Davis markets.
