Do You Hate California? The Rest of the Country Does, Apparently.

California was voted the most hated state, according to a recent poll by Public Policy Polling.

Davis has a pretty solid reputation as a great place to live (so long as you avoid reading the comments section of SacBee.com articles).

Apparently the state of California -- with its beaches, redwoods and Hollywood movies -- is not looked upon so favorably, according to a recent poll by Public Policy Polling. The Golden State ranked at the bottom of all 50 states. Here’s a bit from the Huffington Post

Only five states in the country were in the negative territory, including Utah (24 percent of people polled found the state favorable and 27 percent found it unfavorable), Mississippi (22-28), New Jersey (25-32), Illinois (19-29) and California with a whopping 44 percent of those polled viewing the state unfavorably. Only 27 percent of those polled viewed California favorably, and 29 percent had no opinion. (See all of the results here.)
