More than 1,000 Davis residents were left in the dark Saturday night after two electrical vaults exploded, according to CBS Sacramento.
The power outage affected PG&E customers in west Davis starting around 5 p.m., according to the Sacramento Bee.
A Davis resident sent us the above photo of one of the explosions at Marina Circle and Lake Boulevard.
A PG&E official told the Bee that heat may have been a factor in the explosions and outages.
