An Oct. 2 seminar at the University of California, Davis by research entomologist Jay Evans of USDA'sĀ Ā Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) Beltsville Bee Research LaboratoryĀ has been cancelled due to the government shutdown. Evans was to speak on "Bee Disease Resistance and Colony Health" at the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology seminar fromĀ 12:10 to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2Ā in Room 122 of Briggs Hall.
