'Suspicious': Man Found Dead Near Pole Line Overpass

A 26-year-old man was found dead near the Pole Line overpass on Tuesday. Police sent the following release Wednesday afternoon:

On April 24th at approximately 10:15 PM, Davis Police Officers responded to the parking lot for a report of a male subject lying on the ground adjacent to the Pole Line overpass.  Arriving officers located the subject on the ground and unresponsive. The victim was rushed to the hospital via ambulance where he was declared dead.

The Davis Police, together with the Yolo County Coroner's Office, are investigating this case as a suspicious death. The victim had some visible injuries but the cause of death remains to be determined. A forensic autopsy is scheduled to be performed today.  The Yolo County Coroner has identified the victim as 26 year old Thomas Anthony Conrad, a resident of Sacramento. Further details are not being released to protect the integrity of this investigation.
