Merryhill Preschool Students Donate to Local Children's Hospital

Students at Merryhill Preschool in Davis recently donated more than 70 books and games to UC Davis Children's Hospital’s Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy department. Over the past few weeks, students held a donation drive to collect books and games from the hospital’s wish list. In addition to the donation, students created get well soon cards to help spread cheer and support to children receiving treatment at the hospital. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others in their community.

UC Davis Children's Hospital’s Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy department helps to minimize the anxiety of hospitalization, increase understanding and strengthen coping skills while helping children to continue their typical growth and development.
