Peaceful Scene Along The American River: Photos Of The Day
A bird soars in the distance while a spider waits patiently out of sight for its web in the bush to capture prey.
DAVIS, CA — Valerie Hetrick snapped some photos of birds in August. The first shows a bird soaring over the American River, while the second is of a tree in Davis along the Putah Creek Trail which Valerie said is always full of vultures.
