Seriously, Donβt Be Shy: Share Your Comments
A personal note from Justin, the editor of Davis Patch.

I often describe Davis Patch as an βonline news source.β Hereβs why Iβm realizing that it might not be the best way to introduce the site:
People in town hear the word βnewsβ and they automatically think of a newspaper, which is essentially a one-way street of information: Reporters gather news and they deliver it to readers. Davis Patch is not that.
Yes, we do gather news, but thatβs just the starting point. Truth be told: Many of you in the community know more about certain topics than I ever could. Thatβs why itβs so important that you donβt hesitate to chime in. Please, please, please donβt be shy about sharing your knowledge or opinions.

If youβve ever felt something bubble up after reading a story or watching a video on the site, share that thought before moving on with your day. If you donβt, youβre depriving other readers of information they might otherwise find valuable. Plus, it could help guide my reporting.
Rid yourself of the notion that Iβm the sole deliverer of content on this βlocal news site.β Sure, Iβm a reporter, but in many ways, so are you.
