Two Davis victims were stabbed early Sunday morning after the report of a fight and shots fired. Police are still searching for the suspect and more information.

Davis Police Department
Just after 2:00 am, Sunday morning, the Davis Police responded to a report of a large fight at 2033 F St.
While officers were responding, additional callers reported hearing gunshots west of the apartment complex. When officers arrived, they located a male victim who had been stabbed.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that a party within the complex had become out of control and a large fight erupted among its guests. During that fight, the victim was stabbed and suffered major injuries.
A male subject was observed with a gun by witnesses, however, no evidence was found supporting the report that gunshots had been fired. While officers were on scene, the Davis Police Department was notified that a second victim had been driven to a local hospital by friends.
The investigation is continuing into the circumstances surrounding the events that led up to the two stabbings. There are some indicators this may be a gang related incident.
Anyone who may have witnesses the incident or who has information is urged to contact the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
