Students at Merryhill Preschool in Davis Donate Toys to Local Children

Students and families donated gifts to benefit Toys for Tots

Students at Merryhill Preschool in Davis recently donated new toys to benefit Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Throughout November and December, students held a toy drive, collecting games, books, dolls, art supplies and more for children in need supported by the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to their community, especially during the holiday season.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
