Two Arrests Made: 'Reckless Exhibition of Speed' Gives 18-Year-Old Life-Threatening Injuries
Police arrested Devin Parsons, 19, and Luis Barajas, 22, both of Woodland.

Two vehicles that were engaged in a “reckless exhibition of speed” on April 15 have been identified by Davis Police, leading to two arrests. The hit-and-run took place in the intersection of Eureka Avenue and West 14th Street, according to Lt. Paul Doroshov, who told me the following in an email:
18 year old Louis Robertson was a passenger in the rear seat of one of those cars. Robertson fell out and onto the pavement. The second vehicle ran Robertson over and he suffered life-threatening injuries. Both drivers left the scene prior to police arrival. Robertson was rushed to the UCD Medical Center in Sacramento where he was stabilized and treated. He remains there to date and is recovering.
Davis Police Officers initiated an investigation into the event. On May 2nd and May 3rd, Davis Police Detectives arrested the following drivers on felony “Hit and Run” charges:
- Devin Parsons - a 19 year old Woodland man.
- Luis Barajas Jr. - a 22 year old Woodland man.
Both of these men were booked into Yolo County Jail.
