UPDATE: Who Vandalized the Davis Enterprise? (PHOTOS)
Several downtown locations were hit with white paint. Here are some photos.
Update: Lt. Paul Doroshov said the police department has video of two female suspects writing something on teh sidewalk in front of a business during that same weekend, but they're not sure if the incidents are related.
"I don't necessarily think the two girls who wrote on the sidewalk if front of a business were responsible for the other vandalisms that took place," Doroshov said in an email. "The girls used a chalk-like substance, while white paint was used in the other incidents."

As you can see in the images above, the mural on the side of the Davis Enterprise printing building was hit with the most paint. All of the characters in the art piece were covered in white paint.
Similar white paint can be seen along the wall outside of the Davis Enterprise office as well as on an adjacent sign. We have a call out to the police department, but have not yet heard back.

A Davis Patch reader sent me a note on Tuesday in regard to the paint.
"A coworker tells me that near Taco Bell there was something painted to the effect of 'If you don't like Davis get out of here,'" the reader wrote.
