CAVA One Paseo Celebrates Opening With Free Lunch: Carmel Valley
The first 150 in line dine gratis Thursday at the new restaurant location in San Diego.

CARMEL VALLEY, CA — CAVA, a Mediterranean fast-casual eatery will open on Thursday, July 25 its second restaurant in San Diego County at One Paseo in Carmel Valley, offering the first 150 diners in line a free lunch.
The Washington, D.C.-based chain, founded by three, first-generation Greek-Americans, serves up "customizable" salads, grain bowls and house-made juices and previously opened an Encinitas locale in 2018.
The new One Paseo CAVA at 3722 Paseo Place, will be open daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. with indoor seating for 62, an outdoor patio and a designated, pickup zone inside the restaurant for orders placed online and through the CAVA app.

For the opening-day freebie, doors will open at 10:45 a.m., so get your spot in line!
A portion of the grand-opening proceeds, along with guest donations, will go to the local The Ecology Center, company officials said.

CAVA's signature menu, many with add-on offerings, include Crazy Feta, Spicy Lamb meatballs and Cauliflower Quinoa Tabbouleh, and the restaurant will serve such summer specials as a roasted vegetable medley (brussels sprouts, butternut squash, carrots and cauliflower), a seasonal topping of White Bean Salad with fresh herbs and lemon, Spicy Lentil Soup and a Spicy Lime Tahini dressing.
