Del Mar Gas Prices Top County Averages After Six-Day Surge
Gas prices in Del Mar are even higher than the county average of $4.05.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose six-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.053, one day after increasing nine-tenths of a cent.
The average price has risen six consecutive days and is 3.4 cents more than one week ago, 6.6 cents higher than one month ago and 35.9 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The cheapest gas in Del Mar can be found at the 7-Eleven at 13801 Mango Dr. for $4.18 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.

The rising prices stem from concerns over supplies caused by "exports of refined gasoline to more profitable markets overseas and continued refinery issues," according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
