SWAT Training Will Take Place in Rancho Santa Fe on Wednesday
Deputies from the Sheriff's Special Enforcement Detail (SED/SWAT) will be conducting training in this area that will involve simulated gunfire, aircraft noise and simulated distraction devices.
If you live or work in the Rancho Santa Fe area, be aware of a training exercise happening in your area.
Deputies from the Sheriff's Special Enforcement Detail (SED/SWAT) will be conducting training in this area that will involve simulated gunfire, aircraft noise and simulated distraction devices. Road signs will be posted at the training site to let the public know about the training exercise. People who live or work in this area need not be concerned about the extra presence of law enforcement, as well as the sound of gunfire because IT IS ONLY A DRILL.
The Sheriff's Special Enforcement Detail thanks the community of Rancho Santa Fe for their cooperation and apologizes in advance for any disruptions this training exercise may cause.
