• Palm Springs council advances review of massive tribal warehouse project, hopes for joint meeting ⋆ The Palm Springs Post (thepalmspringspost.com) — A massive 2.85 million-square-foot warehouse complex on tribal land in north Palm Springs is moving forward procedurally as the city submits a nonbinding conformity report, with residents worried about growing warehouse traffic that already extends into Desert Hot Springs city limits. Palm Springs hopes to hold a joint meeting with the Agua Caliente tribe early next year, where locals can push for stricter conditions on traffic, pollution, and road improvements.
   

• ‘Equine therapy' horse ranch in Sky Valley helps people feel grounded (desertsun.com) — Just east of Desert Hot Springs in Sky Valley, a small nonprofit horse ranch offers equine-assisted therapy and horsemanship that many visitors say helps them feel calmer, more confident, and more present. Owner Eva Alvarez pairs people with three very different horses, tailoring each slow-paced session to individual needs, from neurodivergent clients to seniors and people coping with trauma.
