DIAMOND BAR, CA - Five people were arrested at a home in Diamond Bar on Wednesday when sheriff's investigators served a search warrant and discovered a hash or honey oil extraction lab and narcotics, according to a sheriff's official.
Marijuana and LSD was seized in the 1:30 p.m. raid at the home in the 200 block of South Rock River Road, said Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
An active honey oil marijuana extraction lab at the home also included a pound of concentrated cannabis and unfinished products, Navarro-Suarez said. The unfinished cannabis products had an estimated street value of between $15,000 to $70,000.

Operators of honey oil labs typically use propane gas to break down marijuana to produce concentrated cannabis commonly called hash oil or honey oil.
Such operations have been blamed for explosions and fires, and the danger extends to anyone in close proximity to where hash oil is being manufactured.
