Man Stabbed in Back in San Gabriel Valley

A man was stabbed in the back today in Pomona and was expected to survive his wounds.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene at East Holt Avenue at East End Avenue at 12:12 a.m., a county fire dispatcher said.

The victim was airlifted to an area hospital, she said.

The victim's wound was considered non-life threatening. The victim was also uncooperative, said Pomona police Lt. Ronald McDonald.
