Man Who Died In Fatal Diamond Bar Car Crash Remains Unidentified

The man died after his pickup truck crashed into a tree in Diamond Bar during the early-morning hours of Aug. 13.

DIAMOND BAR, CA — Authorities have yet to identify a man who died Aug. 13, who died after his car crashed into a tree in Diamond Bar.

An examination of the man was still pending as of Monday afternoon, and he is currently being referred to as John Doe #274, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. His age is not known.

The man died around 3:20 a.m., Aug. 13, after his truck struck a tree near the intersection of Diamond Bar Boulevard and Temple Avenue. The man’s car caught on fire following the crash.

It’s believed the man last control of his car before crashing, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
