WALNUT, CA — Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva is coming to Walnut later this month to discuss public safety, and residents and business owners are invited.

Villanueva will host a “community conversation” to discuss public safety concerns anyone in the Walnut area may have, according to organizers. The event will be held on Sept. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Walnut Senior Center and is free to attend.

The event will also be streamed online through the Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff’s Station’s Facebook page for anyone unable to make it to the discussion, the station said.
