WALNUT, CA — When the Walnut City Council meets on Wednesday, it will have a light load on its agenda.

The council's agenda features all consent calendar items, with no public hearings or discussion items scheduled for the week.

Consent items are typically approved by a city council under a single motion, "unless an individual item or items are removed by a council member for further consideration or explanation," according to the agenda.

Six consent calendar items are on the council's agenda for Wednesday including, a resolution to approve a joint-use agreement between the city and the Walnut Unified School District and a resolution to continue Walnut's local emergency declaration for the pandemic.

The Walnut City Council will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. Limited in-person attendance will be allowed for the meeting.
